The roles will involve ensuring our performance management system is embedded and the quality of people improved, plus a number of other projects to help make the IT function a FTSE leader. Successful candidates will have influencing skills and personal / professional credibility to raise the bar of HR service to the Line management and influence business plans and IT teams at senior levels ( spec attached below) &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;Purpose To drive delivery of an agreed HR Strategy, services and set of objectives for divisions within Group IS. Group IS currently has around 460 dedicated professionals (with this number growing in line with business demands) covering a wide range of business and technology disciplines. The HR team within Group IS is newly formed and is responsible for the delivery of the People Strategy. The key responsibility of this role is to partner with two key divisions of the business to ensure they deliver their business plans and SLAs. The role involves working with the Recruitment Manager and Learning and Development Manager to ensure the divisions have the resources required to deliver their commitments to the business. There is a need to improve retention and management capability so the HR BP must gain the respect and trust of his/her customers to be an effective Change Agent. There is a commitment to increase the people quality within the Group IS and the HRBP will develop HR solutions and plans to achieve this goal. The HR BP needs to work collaboratively with other members of the HR team to deliver the mission with a consistent approach. The function is split over three sites requiring the HR Business Partner to develop and manage relationships in more than one location. The HR BP is supported by at least one HR Assistant. Delivery is a key value within the business. HR has a lot to deliver in an organization which has grown exponentially over the past year. Person Specification Ideally a graduate with CIPD qualified and 8+ years experience ( minimum of 3 years at a managerial level) in a dynamic environment.
